The kitchen is fully equipped. The living room, with high French ceiling, is large and bright, we can observe the duchy’s place from the windows. One bedroom overlooks the living room while the other overlooks a private courtyard. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower and a sink.
Situated on the first floor promises easy access to all tenants. The Tourism Office, Duché d’Uzès, Cathedral Saint-Théodorit and Jardin Medieval are just a minute walk from the apartment.

This charming apartment is located on the quiet southeast corner of this historical square, in a 16th century building, with it spacious and bright living room overlooking the tree-lined square. Adjacent to the living room you will find the newly renovated, very well equipped open plan kitchen with a cozy breakfast area just in front of the south facing balcony.
There is a nice, quiet bedroom with a very comfortable queen size bed and a large storage closet, overlooking a little square to the south of the building. Both the bedroom and the adjacent bathroom are in the back of the apartment, located away from the Place aux Herbes.
The home is tastefully furnished throughout with many personal touches, appointed with a charming and homely mix of antique provencial and contemporary furniture.
The apartment can accommodate four people, with a comfortable sofa bed in the living room for your kids or visiting friends.

It is with this idea in mind – a Taste of France, a love of Cooking and a desire to share French culture with visitors that our French cooking school was born. Through our French cooking classes in Uzès you will explore French cuisine, specifically Mediterranean and Provençale with market visits, local cheese & wine tasting & the occasional anecdotes.
Your French cooking classes starts off with a local FRENCH MARKET TOUR with your French Chef, Eric Fraudeau. You return to the school for a HANDS-ON French cooking experience. You’ll dine together over a 4-course meal including French wine, French cheese & of course, French bread. Don’t worry, we won’t forget the Apéro before the meal to reward ourselves for a job well done.

Imagine spending your vacation in this light filled, luxurious apartment just steps away from the center of Uzès. L’ancienne brasserie, or old brewery buildings, have been converted into beautiful apartments in a quiet, gated community which includes tennis courts, a lovely swimming pool and private parking.
L’Ancienne Brasseire has been completely updated and decorated to provide spacious, comfortable areas for lounging, dining, cooking, as well as 3 bedrooms. Two bedrooms have 160cm (queen) beds, and one has a 140cm (double) bed. The main floor has an open plan with seating area, dining table and kitchen, plus French doors that open on to a private patio. The patio has an outdoor seating area plus a table and chairs for relaxing and dining outside. The kitchen has all new appliances, as well as utensils, dinnerware, glasses and cutlery. In other words, all the essentials
for creating fabulous meals after shopping at the market in Uzès. There is a toilet as well as a shower room on the main floor.
Elegant marble stairs lead to the second floor, where you will find the bedrooms and a large bathroom with tub/shower and double lavatories. There is also a separate toilet.
The pool and lounge area is a short 20 meters from the apartment. The tennis courts are adjacent to the pool. This exceptional property has been designed for year-round enjoyment. There are heated floors for winter comfort and lots of windows for fresh breezes in the summer. Uzès is one of the prettiest Provençal villages in the south of France. It is known for the Saturday market, as well as lively cafés and shopping. All of this is a quick 5 minute walk from where you will be staying. So, after a day at the market or evening drinks in a café, you can return to the quiet and calm of your comfortable home away from home and the perfect place for your vacation!

Le Domaine de la Source is a duplex apartment of 76 m2 close to Uzès. Three bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1 half-bath. Sleeps 5. Large community pool.
The building was previously a firebrick plant, built in 1869. It was later used as a réglisserie (licorice factory) until 1914 and in the 1950’s the kilns were used to make chaux (powdered lime) for local construction. This historic building, called The Domaine de la Source has been renovated into several apartments. There is an automated entrance gate and private parking.
The two story apartment is located on the second level of the building. On the first floor there is a spacious entrance hall, the kitchen, a WC with lavatory, and a comfortable living-dining area. There are plenty of windows with lovely views of the Uzès countryside and the Valley de l’Eure. There is a TV and a hi-fi system with many CDs, and a cozy club sofa and chairs for relaxing. Books and information on local sites and tourism are at your disposal. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, microwave oven, cooktop, coffee maker, kettle, toaster and all necessary dishes and accessories. A clothes washer, dryer rack and iron are also in the apartment.

La Maison Jasmin, dating back to the 17th century, is integrated amongst the old walls of the picturesque, 13th Century medieval hill top village of Castillon du Gard and offers the most wonderful views of the coastal plains of the Rhone. Enter La Maison Jasmin from a narrow cobbled street through a courtyard that in summer is redolent of the scent and welcoming shade of a mature jasmine tree.
The house (a very comfortable 250m2/2,700 sq.ft.) is entirely built of stone that allows it to retain its heat during the winter and remain cool during the summer. Recently renovated to a very high standard, with exquisite attention to detail, the house provides the latest in modern comfort without sacrificing the style of its original architecture.
The ground floor can be made separate to create an apartment with a kitchen, large vaulted living room, a large double bedroom (with a super king or two twin beds), office nook and bathroom with walk-in shower.
On the first floor there are three double bedrooms: a very spacious master bedroom (super king), with breathtaking views and morning light, has its luxurious ensuite featuring both a walk-in shower and a large soaking tub; the other two comfortable bedrooms (one king and one super king) share a common bathroom with a walk in shower and a separate toilet. Castillon du Gard is a beautiful jewel of a village, and within walking distance from La Maison Jasmin are a quality butcher, a baker, a small convenience store, and several restaurants (two of exceptional quality), and a luxury boutique hotel with spa. A thirty minute drive from Avignon or Nimes and an easy twenty minute drive from the aristocratic market town the Duchy of Uzes, Provence is on your door step.

The fruit from the farms and orchards around Uzès will be ready soon and what could be more authentic than picking your own red, juicy cherries? Domaine Natura is located in St Laurent-la-Vernède, a pretty village just 13 kilometers (8 miles) north of Uzès. This is a small winery that not only makes delicious wines, but they have bountiful orchards. Hours are Monday-Saturday 10am-12noon and 3pm-6pm. www.domainenatura.fr
