When Doug bought a run-down villa in the South of France in 2002 he imagined it would be a part-time twenty year renovation project to keep him amused while he continued his IT career in London. However one year into the re-development he discovered he’d stumbled across an area and a way of life he couldn’t resist.With his wife Lynn they ran cycling holidays from the newly renovated villa. It was quickly apparent that there was demand to rent quality bikes, and so Village Velo was born. Initially it was in a small space that used to be a glass-blowers’ studio, but in 2010 Village Velo moved to its new space on the Route D’Uzes, also in Saint Quentin la Poterie. |

Our Maison de la Bourgade is a bed and breakfast situated right in the centre of Uzes in the peace of a pedestrian street. It is a breath of fresh air in the city which, thanks to its garden and small pool, also offers rural pleasures. A real lover of Uzes, Elisabeth loves to open up her house to visitors. |

Welcome to our adventure! With just over five hectares of vineyards, we make hand-picked, artisanal wines in the Southern Rhône Valley of France. Created in 2005 by Amy Lillard and Matt Kling, La Gramière’s wines are now available in small quantities all over the world. Producing only 8000 – 10,000 bottles a year of Grenache-based organically farmed wine, this is truly a labor of love! |

Le Mas des Oules is a family run estate in the ‘Gard Provençal’. Historically it was the farm and winery of the château of Saint-Victor des Oules and has since been sympathetically converted into eight houses and apartments ranging from one to three bedrooms. The ‘Mas’ is set in grounds of 8ha and offers spectacular views across la plaine de l’Alzon to the Cévennes hills. |
