What property owners are saying…

Dominique and Christophe, the founders of Uzès Vacation Rentals, have been a pleasure to work with over the course of the last year. Roughly one year ago, my wife and I purchased a Maison de Village in the historic quarter of Uzès. Shortly thereafter, upon looking for property managers, we were fortunate enough to have been referred to Dominique and Christophe. We interviewed several potential property managers and, in the end, decided that we wanted to work with them. We’ve never regretted our decision. They are dedicated, hard working, trustworthy, detail oriented, trilingual (English, French, Spanish), and always available for our renters. We always know that our renters are well taken care of!Thank you, Dominique and Christophe!

Dominique and Christophe Cachat have been taking care of the rentals for my house in St Laurent la Vernede since two years now, and to put it simply, I am absolutely delighted. They organize and communicate with all prospective customers, timing, payment etc. They also welcome them into the house on arrival, and are on standby should any questions or problems arise.

This fantastic service is offered at what I believe to be a very fair price.
Since placing my house in their hands, I have had immediate success from the first year onwards, and have no doubts it shall continue.
They are extremely professional, courteous and honest. They also have the advantage in being fluent in both English and French.
For anybody interested in renting their house, whether short term or all the year round, and are looking for a company to take care of all the details from A-Z, I can highly recommend them.

What Renters are saying…

We can’t believe our 12 wonderful days in beautiful Uzès are ending tomorrow! The apartment was absolutely perfect, and the location coud not have been better. We could not wait to get to the tower every  evening for wine and a gorgeous sunset…loved it! Thank you Dominique and Christophe for all your help in planning this great trip. You answered all our emails promptly and suggested terrific restaurants and places to visit. So happy you gave us Joe McLeans website because we took a full day wine tour with him that was fabulous! One of our favorite meals was at La Table 2 Julien. Thanks for the recommendation…so good! We loved this vacation and hope we can return soon. We will definitely recommend this lovely town and apartment to all of our friends.

“Rarely” we said upon arrival “does reality so exceed expectations” but it did with this apartment. The online presentation of this property and Uzes was so seductive that it was a shock to experience for a week something so utterly enjoyable and in excess of what we anticipated. Dominique couldn’t do enough to help make our stay perfect. Thank you Dominique vous etes tres gentille. It is impossible to say that one thing was the ‘best’ thing or the ‘highlight’. For us personally it was sheer delight to be in the apartment – looking out, eating on the terrace, relaxing, reading, planning the next outing. And how could you not love La Place aux Herbes, its markets and activities. We had an outstanding meal at La Maison d’Uzes. Everything accessible on foot. Lots to look at and take in. We had the good fortune to have a look round the apartment below ours just before we left and it is no exaggeration to say we were stunned all over again! We are sure we will come back. Merci encore Dominique. Bien amicalement.

We were so impressed with our recent stay in La Pacha villa. We’ve rented villas for the last 8 years or so and this one is quite easily the best we have stayed in. There is so much space in the villa with 5 double bedrooms, one of which is the huge master suite complete with sunken jacuzzi bath, enormous walk-in shower, dressing area and even an exercise bike for use if you wish. The living area is light and spacious and looks out onto the pool area. The kitchen is modern and well equipped with plenty of cupboard and fridge/freezer space. There’s even a cinema room upstairs with a fair number of DVDs/Blu-Rays which my children adored. Outside is even better though. The pool is just amazing, a huge octagon with plenty of space and sun loungers around. It isn’t fenced off but there’s a very good pool alarm. There are 3 separate outdoor seating/sofa areas and a large outdoor table which we had all our meals at, day and night. There’s also table tennis and a basketball hoop at the back of the house. Plenty of balls, badminton racquets and even a large inflatable boat for the pool have thoughtfully been provided. Children are very safe here with the gardens being fully enclosed. This villa could easily house a couple of families with children due to the amount of space there is. It’s also very private and not overlooked at all, yet only a short walk into the very pretty medieval village Castillon du Gard. The managers, Dominique and Christophe Cachat were so helpful. We rented this villa at incredibly short notice yet despite only about 24 hours notice they managed to get the villa cleaned and ready for our arrival – not easy seeing as we were the first renters of this house ever! Yes there are a few very minor tweaks/updates to the villa that would make it perfect but overall it is of very high standard and just perfect for our family holiday with young children – highly recommended!

Really convenient location,a totally French character in the heart of medieval Uzes. Well equipped kitchen which allowed us to buy fresh produce and cook in between walking to many local restaurants. Dominique and Christophe are excellent support and the secure parking made life easy. We loved our home base during four weeks of exploring southern France, feeling very comfortable and almost local.

A bientot…
